Beginning Quilting Part Four: Stars this is a Fayetteville class
Saturday 11:30am - 2:30pm
In this class you will learn to make the Ohio Star, the SawTooth Star and the LeMoyne Star (also know as the Flower Star and 8 Point star).
You'll be provided will pre-cut kits that contain the pieces for the three quilt blocks.
You will learn the techniques of seam nesting and seam spinning which help to produce flat seams and perfect points.
Supplies Needed
Use our Classroom Sewing Machines
*6.5" x6.5" square rotary cutting ruler with rotary cutter
*Good quality white or neutral machine thread (50 weight thread for piecing)
*Shape quilters straight pins
*Snips
*Marking tool
*Seam fixer
Helpful to have: Sewing gauge ruler, mini-iron and ironing mat, 4.5" x 4/5" square ruler
